The fate of Africans....:((( - 4.5 out of 5 (2/29/2000)
Amistad is slave ship with full of African poor slaves..The film concerns on slavery and how they were punished, used and kicked...In Amistad slaves take over a ship then get catched so they brought to in front of judge to determine who they belong.
It is about them to take over their freedom again with the help of a lawyer (Matthew),Morgan Freeman and ex-lawyer Anthony Hopkins...
This is another good and emotional film from Steven Spielberg..He did a good job here to bring slavery on worlds

Powerful - 5 out of 5 (5/9/1999)
Amistad is a very powerful and fantasic acheivment by Director Steven Spielberg. This shall be considered his first good film on DVD (lets just try to forget about 1941). Although this film can get slow at times it still retains its drama and mood. The acting is beautiful as well as compelling. There are also some very upsifting moments. The movie does a good job at pointing out a point in history that not many people know about. Good job, Mr. Spielberg, now lets see more good DVD's from yo
